The Makita XAG25Z 18V LXT Brushless 5″ X-LOCK Angle Grinder delivers grinding performance in a compact cordless tool. The unique feature of this angle grinder is the X-LOCK Technology, which is a quick change system for fast tool free wheel changes. A click mount and pull release lever makes changing wheels easy (wheels with an X-Lock hub must be used). It is ideal for grinding and cutting a wide range of materials including metal, tile, concrete, pipe, conduit and more. The tool is powered by a brushless motor for longer run time, increased power, speed and longer tool life and also features Active Feedback Sensing Technology which turns the motor off if rotation speed suddenly slows or the wheel is forced to a stop. Star Protection equipped tools and batteries exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. The tool also features Soft Start for smooth start-ups and longer gear life, Anti-Restart Protection, Quick guard rotation, Rubberized soft grip, Spiral Bevel Gears and a 3-stage L.E.D. battery charge gauge.
